„TRES AQUAS” / „PAULS-BUSULIS-JEVTUŠENKO” !

Premiere for the two brand new projects of Maestro Raimonds Pauls will take place in Latvian National Opera on the 7th of December, 2009.

„TRES AQUAS"  is project were Latvian national folksongs have been arranged in unusual simfo - jazz style and will be performed by maestro Raimonds Pauls himself and his "singing instrument" - piano!  

With his arrangements R.Pauls has given an original, contemporary taste to the well known Latvian folk music. Speccial atmosphere will be also created by the Brazilian percussionist Tiago Loei. Concert program will include such songs as "Aijā žūžū", "Strauja, strauja upe tecēj'", "Tumša nakte, zaļa zāle" and other well known and loved compositions.

 Second part of the concert will be dedicated to the songs written by Raimonds Pauls (lyrics by the famous poet J.Jevtušenko) and performed by Intars Busulis. All songs will be completely new and have never been performed before.
